Circuito de Almeria

Circuito de Almeria

Almeria is known for it's 365 days of sun. The Circuit of Almería is a racetrack located in the municipality of Tabernas (Almería). It was inaugurated in the year 2000 and hosts various official competitions from different autonomous communities, the most important being the Andalusian Motorcycle Championship. This circuit, thanks to its low rainfall rate and its geographical location, is chosen by many teams from the World Motorcycle Championship and the British Superbike Championship for their pre-season training. In recent years, the Almería Circuit has been gaining popularity and prestige, appearing in video games and hosting the driver selection programs for female Formula 1, the W Series.
